Earth ovens (hornos) are great for baking pizzas, breads & desserts as well as cooking meats and vegetables. I adapt the larger oven size often found in New Mexico to a smaller "backyard" design which requires less fuel and time for firing. This 3-day class takes you through the steps of building your own earth oven using natural, local materials:
